To encourage songwriters for writing more original songs, the organisers will present 7 awards during the finale concert: Best Song Award, Lyrics (Merit) Award, Melody (Merit) Award, Popularity Award (Public Voting), Best Vocal Performance, Best Performing Band Award and “SCCC Xchange Award” for compositions with multicultural elements. Winning awards are not listed in any particular order.
